That day I tried to reach Galini, without success. Google Maps sent me in circles, until a local explained to me that the village is not accessible, it is a military area. I arrived at Soloi late and as I walked alone through the site, the sun had just set, I saw Vouni and the sea across it and the beauty of the moment was absolute. I sat down on the ground and took a note of that very unique moment.
