limestone stele with standing woman, Cypro-Classical I period (second half of the 5th c. BC), Polis Chrysochous (ancient Marion)

12.8.21 Marion/Arsinoe.

A wonderful area due to the fertile soil deposited by the river, whose delta is in the Bay of Chrysochou. A basin between west and east, there is beauty everywhere you look, Akamas and Troodos, no humidity, great breeze. An area relatively isolated, self-sufficient, a wonderful location, far away it seems to me from the currents that brought the pirates. I revisited the museum of the area with new eyes.
